St. Paul Shamrocks win first ever Class A title

The St. Paul Shamrocks won their first ever Class A State title with a 4-3 win over the Minneapolis Cobras on Sunday at Red Haddox Field in Bloomington.

Class B Super Sections

The Class B Super Sections are set to begin on Friday, Aug. 16 at four locations throughout the state – Marshall, Moorhead, Austin and Victoria. The MBA Board announced Sunday the pairings for each site.

Pair of Hall of Famers pass away

The Minnesota amateur baseball community lost a pair of Hall of Famers recently. Mel Cook, a 1987 inductee from Comfrey, and Jack Ruhr, a 2000 inductee from Miesville, both passed away this summer.
