The 6th Annual Stearns County Classic begins today with a field that includes some of the best amateur teams in the state.
Hosted by Lake Henry and St. Martin, both the Lakers and Martins are competing in the tournament. The rest of the eight-team tourney includes 2014 Class C state champion Sobieski, along with Green Isle and Jordan – both tied for second in the preseason Class C rankings. Last year’s Class B state runner up St. Cloud Beaudreau’s is also in the field as well as Avon and the Cold Spring Rockies.
