Meeting call to order by President Richter at 11:00 AM
There were 25 dedicated people in attendance
Roll call showed all board members present with the exception of Mark Forsman
Motion Nagel, second Brennan, carried to approve the minutes of the previous meeting
The Board met with the officials and key chair persons from Green Isle/Hamburg/Norwood to go over details of various components of the 2017 State Tournament.
Motion Kreger, second Nagel carried to approve the following teams to play Non MBA teams:
Worthington Cubs to play Sioux Falls, SD 5/17/2017
Marshall A’s to play Brookings Cubs
Metro Knights to play Spring Valley, River Falls, Osceola, Twin Ports and St. Paul J.T’s (35+, Federal League)
It is duly noted that the following players notified the MBA of their desire to play in a collegiate wood bat league or out of state and return to play with their respective teams;
Cody Pamperin, Shakopee Coyotes to play for the Weburn Beavers, Saskatchewan, Canada
Josh Rehwaldt, Victoria to play in the Northwoods League

Motion Roufs, second Nagel carried to approve Michael Humphrey to play for thd Mora Blue Devils utilizing the Hometown rule
Motion Barry, second Nagel carried to approve Kyle Jensen to play for the Forest Lake Brewers, utilizing the Hometown Rule
Motion Roufs, second Kreger carried to approve the Player Questionnaire for Hunter Lake, Pine City and his request to play for Hinckley
Motion Brennan, second Barry carried to approve the Pro Player Questionnaire and contract for Jason Hoppe to return to play with the Sauk Rapids Cyclones
OLD BUSINESS
The MBA Board continued its discussions regarding criteria establishment. It was noted that there are approximately 40 teams that have not filled out their website roster information. Any team that fails to complete the proper forms by JUNE 30th with respect to their rosters for the purpose of assisting the MBA Board of Directors in the development of Criteria for B/C teams will be deemed not in good standing with the MBA and will not be eligible to participate in post season play.
NEW BUSINESS
Motion Nagel, second Lemke to approve the MBA paying for an ad in the tournament program for Wornson, Goggins, Neisen, Morris, Brewer P.C. acknowledging and thanking them for their legal work for the MBA
With no further business, motion Lemke, seconded Nagel, carried to adjourn at 12:20 pm
Next meeting of the MBA will be Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the Eastside VFW at 11:00 AM
