The Upsala Bluejays broke a 3-3 tie with the visiting Flensburg Falcons after 5 1/2 innings by scoring 10 runs over the next 3 innings to beat the Falcons 13-3 in 8 innings. The Upsala offense was led by lead-off man Justin Cichon, who went 5-5 with a pair of doubles and a walk, 2 rbi and scored 3 times.
