Nisswa 2, Fairmont 1 @ Brownton (13 innings)
Jason Roepke lasted all 13 innings and shut down a potent Fairmont hitting team on just 4 hits in Nisswa's 2-1 victory. He allowed only one unearned run while walking one and striking out six.
The game was scoreless until the ninth when both teams pushed acorss a run and also had a runner thrown out at the plate. For Fairmont, Scott Chirpich reached on an error, was sacrificed to second, moved to third on a single by Shaun McGuire and scored on a single by Adam Schmidt. McGuire was thrown out at the plate on the play.
In Nisswa's ninth, Adam Hardy had a bunt single, he was sacrificed to second and scored on a double by Tyler Wittmer. Wittmer was thrown out at the plate after Brett Jenkins singled to left.
In the 13th Nisswa scored the winning run on a double by Aaron Jenkins, a single by Adam Hardy and a sacrifice fly to ceter by Morgan Sheperd.
Waconia 6, New Prague 5 @ Brownton
Waconia came back from a 3-0 deficit by scoring five runs in the sixth inning. New Prague tied it up in the eighth with a two run rally, but Waconia answered with the game winner in the top of the ninth and held on for the win.
New Prague scored their first three runs on errors and two fielders choice. Waconia scored five in the sixth on RBI singles by Ronnie Olson and Nick Litfin. Jeff Chrest walked with the bases loaded to force in another run and Andrew Fredickson had a two run single.
New Prague tied it in the eighth on a two RBI single by Justin Novak, but Waconia won it in the top of the ninth on a solo home run by Ben Smothers.
Tony Wishnack was the winner tossing two innings in relief of starter Craig LaPlante. Zach Sirek was the losing pitcher for New Prague.
Isanti 4, Miltona 2 @ Brownton
Joe Ramberg threw a complete game giving up seven hits, two earned runs with two walks and seven strike outs. Isanti built a four run lead scoring two in the first, one in the second and one in the fifth inning. Eric Rysdam grounded out to short for the first run and Kyle Johnson singled for the second run in the first inning.
In the second, Wyatt Sooderquist doubled for the third run. In the fifth, Kyle Johnson knocked in the fourth run for Isanti with a sacrifice fly.
Miltona got on the scoreboard with a Caleb Curry triple knocking in one run and the other scoring on a ground out by Sam Steidl. But that was all the Miltona could muster in the 4-2 loss. Ben Bruggeman was the losing pitcher for Miltona.
Big Lake 8, Mankato Mets 2 @ Brownton
Big Lake started scoring early and was ahead 7-0 after four innings. They added one more run in the sixth and limited Mankato to two runs for an 8-2 victory. Asa Patterson pitched seven innings giving up four hits, two earned runs, three walks and six strike outs. Nicholas Koubsky pitched two perfect innings in relief for Big Lake.
Mitchell Loegering was 4-5with four RBI. Micah Loegering was 2-5 with one RBI and David Burkholder and Justin Haag both had an RBI for Big Lake. Ben Smith had the only RBI for Mankato. Andy Stolt took the loss for Mankato.
