It stayed that way until the bottom of the 6th when Sobieski blew the game open. Matt Baier then ripped an rbi single just inside the 3rd base bag to drive home Eckman to make it 4-0. Beau Thoma then crushed a ball to the shed in left for a Grand Slam Homer, putting the Skis up 8-0. Alex Foss of Foley then got his first out of the inning with a strikeout, but Collin Kray reached on an infield single, and after a Dusty Parker pop up to 1st, Jake Kapphahn walked and Collin Eckman singled to load the bases once again. Hudson Filippi then walked for the 4th time in the game, this time driving in a run to make it 9-0. Riley Czech then basked a Home Run that appeared to clear the shed in left field for the Skis 2nd Grand Slam Homer of the inning and making the score 13-0.
In the top of the 7th, Foley’s Ean Von Wald singled to center with 2 outs to get the Lumberjacks 2nd hit of the game off Matt Filippi, who then closed the game with his 9th strikeout to lock up the 13-0 win.
